Queensland Panthers Supporters Group

The Queensland Panthers Army was set up in 2005 to have Panther supporters sit together at footy games in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We have a base of loyal Panther supporters who cheer the team on. Some of the matches we have been to include in 2007 Gold Coast Titans trial at Carrarra and Round 3 Broncos match at Suncorp. In 2008, we attended the opening round match against the Broncos at Suncorp and a successful win by the Panthers against the Titans in our first trip to Skilled Stadium on the Gold Coast.

We have many young families who are part of the Army, and we have recently expanded our group to include a Facebook Group (type in Queensland Panthers on the search menu). We are always looking for more supporters so email us if you want to join the Army.

We run a tipping competition which is sponsored by Whats Your Team sports store in Redcliffe, a Dream Team Competition on Sportal, and a supporters forum.

In 2009 we have a match in South East Queensland, with the Panthers taking on the Broncos in Round 23.

On the weekend of 14-17 August 2009 the Panthers play the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.  Last year we suffered a heavy loss, but in 2007 Michael Jennings stole the show as the Panthers came from behind for a great win against the Broncos.
Whilst the game is still over ten weeks away, its time to start thinking if you want to sit with the Supporters Group.

 

Pre-event drinks?
Yes, these generally occur along Caxton Street prior to the game.

I will be heading down to Sydney for the Dragons game the weekend before the Broncos game.  If anyone is interested in going from Brisbane please let me know.
